Make nfs (v4) mounts work on recent OSX

So you got a recent OSX and cannot get your nfs working? For me it turned out the solution was rather easy: OSX just needs to be told to use nfs4 explicitly 🙂

sudo vi /etc/nfs.conf
#
# nfs.conf: the NFS configuration file
#
nfs.client.mount.options=vers=4 Code language: PHP (php)

That’s all!
